Terms and Conditions

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

1.1 By engaging in business relations with HELLO FIX, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and conditions. This agreement is effective upon entering into a contract, and HELLO FIX reserves the right to make reasonable technical and other changes at its discretion.

2. DEVICE REPAIR AND ASSESSMENT

2.1 The customer, by submitting their device to HELLO FIX for assessment and/or repair, acknowledges that HELLO FIX operates as a Third-Party Repair Agent. HELLO FIX is not authorized to use genuine parts for repairs. The customer must provide accurate information regarding faults/issues, and if the device has been previously serviced elsewhere.

2.2 Quotes are provided before repair, and HELLO FIX reserves the right to modify the quote during the repair process. Turnaround time is an estimate, subject to change based on factors such as fault complexity, parts availability, or repair complications.

2.3 HELLO FIX tests devices before repair; however, if the device is non-responsive, HELLO FIX is not liable for additional faults post-repair. Opening the device voids its water resistance.

2.4 If HELLO FIX is found responsible for damage or further damage during repair, it may repair the damage, replace the device, or compensate the customer. HELLO FIX is not liable for indirect, punitive, special, incidental, or consequential damage.

2.5 The customer acknowledges that additional faults may be discovered during examination, and HELLO FIX is not responsible for such faults or resulting device malfunctions.

2.6 A repair by HELLO FIX may void the manufacturer’s warranty and other device-specific warranties.

3. NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY

3.1 Warranty is null and void if the device is repaired by another agent after HELLO FIX’s service.

3.2 Warranty covers services directly provided by HELLO FIX. It does not cover issues due to wear and tear, environmental factors, water damage, existing frame damage, data loss, mishandling, deliberate damage, locked devices, motherboard repairs, BYO parts, screen protectors, Apple battery replacements affecting the “Battery Health” app, iOS updates, and more.

3.3 For warranty claims, original parts must be attached to the device in their original condition.

4. WARRANTY REPAIRS

4.1 HELLO FIX’s warranty applies to serviced parts and/or services. Warranty claims are for manufacturing faults only and require approval from the Customer Service Team.

4.2 The Customer Service Team has up to 14 days to address warranty requests. Devices without warranties include motherboards. Various components have specific warranty periods, and physical damage voids the warranty.

4.3 HELLO FIX provides a 90 days warranty on repairs conducted by our technicians.

4.4 The warranty covers the specific repair conducted and does not extend to other issues that may arise after the repair.

5. PRIVACY POLICY AND DATA SECURITY

5.1 HELLO FIX respects your privacy and will take all necessary measures to protect your data during the repair process.

5.2 Customers are advised to remove any sensitive or personal information from the device before bringing it in for repair.

5.3 During the repair process, HELLO FIX may require access to the customer’s personal information/application. HELLO FIX may disclose the customer’s personal information if required by authorities or law enforcement.

6. PAYMENT

6.1 The customer is required to pay the full amount invoiced in respect of repairs carried out on their device and collect their device from HELLO FIX within 30 days of being notified by HELLO FIX that her/his device has been repaired and is ready for collection.

6.2 If the customer does not collect her/his device within this period, HELLO FIX will consider your device abandoned and HELLO FIX may, subject to any applicable provisions of law, dispose of or recycle your device in any manner.

 

By using the services of HELLO FIX, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. HELLO FIX reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. It is the customer’s responsibility to review the terms and conditions periodically.
